REPORTING TO:Deputy Section Manager, Supply & Logistics Section
DIVISION:Economy & Commerce Division
*JOB SUMMARY:
Merchandise Control is responsible to plan and handle merchandise control work in assigned area in accordance with the established operating procedures and written and oral instructions from Section Manager and Deputy Section Manager.
** JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Minimum works for Merchandise Control Staff are as follows,
- Responsible for inventory control of all raw materials, intermediate products and final products in Refinery
- Create the daily/monthly/quarterly and annually mas balance report
- Cooperate with related Operation/Technical/Accounting staffs to investigate, record and report when mass imbalance is out of range.
- Manage all products, semi-products movement to control production and inventory
- All clerical work for purchase, sales, actual trading, inventory control, import/export, etc.
- Management of computer system for merchandise control
- Merchandise Control staff should support Customs Clearance and Taxation work, such as:
+ Responsible for crude and products import and export clearance
+ Coordinating with Port Authorities, such as Customs and Immigration.
+ Prepare necessary information for tax application
+ Research and notification of change of tax regulations
+ Support periodical tax estimation and calculation work.
- Carry out the job in accordance with written and oral instructions from Section Manager and Deputy Section Manager.
- During EPC period, Merchandise Control Staff will:
+ Establish the work flow, Work Procedures & Manuals;
+ Study the related IT system (PSS, I&EMS, ERP…);
+ Study, establish and develop training program for staffs
+ Study all related (internal and external) materials (such as work procedure/manual, government regulations…)
Yêu cầu công việc
* Educational Level: Major in Economics/Commercial or equivalent/ Degree of Engineer in Petroleum/Petrochemical Industry or equivalent 
** Work Experience: Min 5 years’ experience in Merchandise control field in Petroleum / Petrochemical Plant or equivalent 
*** Skills: 
- Excellent Knowledge and understanding of merchandise control, customs clearance and taxation.
- Experience in merchandise control and related work.
- Report writing and presentation skills
- English skills: IELTS 5.0 
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
