Mô tả công việc
Roles and Responsibilities:
o The Plastic Mechanical Engineer will be part of Global Procurement team in FRIWO.
o He/She will use his/her experience and knowledge in Plastic Injection Molding to
support the business development and continuity.
o He/She will be responsible of managing the Plastic commodity in terms of strategy and
cost competitiveness.
Job Duties:
o Develops strategic sourcing direction for the commodity and builds the Supplier
Orientation Chart with all the stakeholders of the commodity (increased focus on NP
relative to past performance).
o Develops a solid working knowledge of Plastic commodity trends including: industry
trends, cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times, and technical/manufacturing
processes.
o Support all key supplier sourcing/selection activities for his commodity with the NPI
teams.
o Ensures the long term competitiveness of the solutions used in Friwo.
o Ensures that supply base meets technical requirements and innovation objectives.
o Leads several Global negotiations for his commodity, is responsible for final resolut
of all contractual agreements, and ensures effective price implementation..
o Lead supplier quarterly business review with all A suppliers (QBR).
o Develops costs models & cost analysis.
o Updates stakeholders on suppliers, industry trends and issues. Provides relevant
market analysis (Strategic – Financial…). Shares the key commodity informations with
technical and purchasing teams during regular coreteams.
o Use data analysis to drive continuous improvement and deliver savings to the business.

Yêu cầu công việc
o Self-Leadership skills
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering
o Demonstrated knowledge and solid understanding of Plastics commodities including
the various resins and resin manufacturers available in the global plastic industry
o Flexibility and ability to multitask and perform different tasks as needed to get the job
done
o Experience in Plastic Mechanical Engineering: At least 5 years
o Experience in Procurement/Purchasing: not necessary but would be a plus.
o English: Proficiency in the English languages is required.
