Job Summary
o
Ensure efficient operations through careful coordination of
Materials and Manufacturing efforts, providing Purchasing, Planning, and
Manufacturing timely and accurate information with focus on developing
production schedules and priorities to meet overall Planning objectives.
·
Job Duties:
o
Identify production outputs in timely manner.
o
Understand the fundamentals and principles of MRP.
o
Isolate and resolve with buyers potential or realized material
issues/shortages
o
Communicate timely and accurate material or production issues
that affect ability to meet the Master Schedule or that affect current
scheduled production activities
o
Check required cross functional Build Readiness meetings to
ensure new assembly production and/or implementation of ECN/ECO is achievable
and in-line with the Master Schedule
o
Create and publish production schedules governing the execution
of planned manufacturing activities.
o
Utilize reporting functionality of specific ERP system. Eg. Ship
Status reports, Stock Overviews, Material Movements.
o
Focus on optimization of run quantities, minimum changeover, and
achievement of 100% On Time Delivery.

Yêu cầu công việc
• Education Required
o BA in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Experience Required
o 2 - 3 years’ experience in materials management related field.
• Knowledge Required
o Clearly understand new and current Materials department tools and processes.
o Continually evaluate the current processes and tools to determine their ability to meet the department’s business needs.
o Establish and maintain an effective training and facilitation schedule for both new and existing processes.
o Develop and facilitate specialized training as needed.
• Skill Requirements
o Advanced PC skills, with emphasis on spreadsheet skills and ERP/MRP experience.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Strong analytic, project management and applied statistical skills.
o Strong problem solving, negotiation skills are a must.
o Ability to effectively and professionally work under pressure, in a team oriented environment, with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities.
