Mô tả công việc
Purchaser - Fabric is responsible to purchase quality fabrics at the right price / competitive price. You will liaise with suppliers on price and lead time. To schedule delivery with forwarder and Production coordinator to use the most cost effective mode of transport in bringing in the fabrics JUST-IN-TIME for manufacturing needs.
1. To exercise timely procurement and JIT delivery.
2. Tracking of Purchase Orders.
3. To liaise with forwarder on shipment schedule.
4. To liaise with Suppliers on price and lead time.
5. To work closely with Production coordinators on the required date of fabrics.
6. To provide weekly fabric status to related departments
7. To work with Suppliers on claim on sub quality fabrics
8. To fill in Customer WIP on fabrics status
9. To maintain a healthy inventory level.
10. To render support to offshore procurement.
11. To ensure accurate information on term, price and quantity of raw materials are flown down to respective department.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Work closely and maintain cordial relationships at all times with all other Dept’s personnel.
- Having 1 or 2 years experience in purchasing fabric and accessories is required.
- Good English in both speaking and writing.
- University degree or College degree.
- Good communication, must be meticulous
- Microsoft Office, familiar with ERP system
- Background of international trade will be added advantage
- Most of suppliers are from China, Mandarin speaker will be added advantage
